"Run for a Reason in 2013"

We are encouraging as many athletes as we can to "Run for a Reason in 2013" its our way to give back to the community by raising as much money as we can for charities and those in need in a community.

If you cant "Run for a Reason in 2013" you can still make a difference by "Volunteering for the Community".

The 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon & Community Run Festival is looking to recruit volunteers to assist with the smooth running of the event in 2013.

Volunteering can be a very rewarding experience for people of all ages and backgrounds.  We require volunteers in the week leading up to the event and over the event weekend.  Roles would include helping to put together race packs, aid stations, road marshalls, assistance with event set up and pack down, registration of entrants and the all important information and help desks.

If you are a student looking to gain work experience we would also like to hear from you.  In the months leading up to the event there are a number of key activities that are required to be fulfilled to ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible, from operations, marketing, race co-ordination and many other crucial roles.
