Training Guides
The 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon and Community Run Festival has partnered with Sunshine Coast-based training group Atlas Multisports Coaching, which specialises in group and individual training across a number of disciplines include running, swimming and cycling.
These free training guides have been developed for all ages and abilities and provide a time-based run framework for beginner, intermediate and advanced athletes alike.
Each program has been developed to allow the right amount of time to build succesfully to complete your distance of choice.
View the marathon training program that's right for you (16 week program):
Athlete who trains about 3 hours per week, hasn’t completed a fun run before, takes 60mins+ to complete 10km.
Athlete who trains 5 hours per week and has successfully completed a 10km race in less than 50 minutes and/or has completed at least one half marathon.
Athlete who trains more than 10 hours a week and can run a 10km race in less than 40 minutes and/or has completed five or more half marathons.
