The Sunshine Coast has its own airport with direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne and New Zealand.

Air New Zealand now operate international passenger flights in and out of the airport flying twice a week to and from Auckland.

For domestic visitors Virgin Blue and Jetstar fly directly into the Sunshine Coast Airport from Sydney and Melbourne three times a day seven days a week.
